Description
Compost temperature probes are required to monitor the core temperature of thermophilic compost piles to ensure the temperature reaches 55 degrees but does not exceed 75 degrees. Total length of thermometer from tip of probe to end of handle is 1150mm with a probe length of 880mm. Includes batteries and PVC probe protector/cover.
These thermometers are very useful in testing the core temperatures of your hay bales especially when using “Hay Guard” and other inoculants, and to monitor temperatures to help prevent hay stack fires..
